Crônica de um sábado de sol

Sábado, 20 de outubro, Avenida Paulista, 2 horas da tarde.

Ao contrário do que só pode imaginar, no final de semana o vai-e-vem de pessoas na calçada não é menor do que nos dias comerciais. Mas hoje é diferente e nesta multidão de gente heterogênea que se esbarra, um detalhe é comum à maioria – uma sacolinha transparente (e barulhenta) com um logotipo circular e vermelho. Sim, o público que lota a Paulista até o final de mês é o público da 31a Mostra.

E entre esta multidão de pessoas, lá estava eu. Atrasado. Quis me antecipar e acabei me atrasando nos preparativos. A meta de 5 filmes, já iria cair para 4. Mas antes da sessão, precisava trocar os ingressos para o dia seguinte no Conjunto Nacional. Nada de surpresas por lá, apenas a longa fila de pessoas e suas credenciais. Enquanto a fila andava, resolvi retirar meu kit – a bela sacola barulhenta, um bem cuidado catálogo pesado, um bonito pôster desajeitado de se levar e o guia resumido, a ferramenta essencial para essas duas próximas semanas. O tempo foi mais rápido do que a fila e lá se foi mais uma sessão perdida. Agora a conta do dia ficaria em 3 filmes. O jeito é se conformar e assumir que se trata de um aquecimento.

Como perdi a sessão das 14h, poderia me organizar melhor até o próximo filme. Cada um se programa à sua maneira. O meu é bem simples – tento otimizar o máximo o horário e evitar idas e vindas de uma sala à outra. Assim, a correria é menor e o número de filmes vistos é maior. O volume de filmes não quer dizer qualidade, mas representa variedade. Errar na escolha, assistir à filmes ruins e estranhos faz parte do processo, assim como se surpreender com um belo filme numa sessão com apenas 10 pessoas.

Como queria ver Infâncias às 20h30 no HSBC Belas Artes, também troquei os ingressos para as duas sessões anteriores. Isso quer dizer que poderia ficar na sala durante 3 filmes, sem me incomodar com filas ou ansiedade para saber se conseguirei um lugar bom para sentar. Na Mostra a escolha do lugar é de grande importância; uma cabeça na frente e você realmente não entenderá o que se passa na tela. Uma criança falando russo? Só com a tradução simultânea da mocinha com o laptop que fica passando diálogo a diálogo a tradução num pequena tela abaixo da grande tela.

E aí, como foram os filmes, todo mundo pergunta. Com 3 filmes seguidos e numa mesma sala – A Arte das Lágrimas, Conversas com meu Jardineiro e Infâncias – dá para pensar numa sessão temática: infância e amizade. No próximo post, escreverei sobre os filmes, porque hoje a meta é de 6 filmes e preciso correr para não perder nenhuma sessão. Ah, e o domingo também é de sol. Até.
